A few new things...

A couple new pooch portraits to add to the collection!

These tree paintings are a peek at what I have been up to lately. They are much more loose and abstract then I usually do, but lots of fun. They have a subtle gold shimmer to them that can't be captured in photographs. I am planning on showing these at the Night of Artists event in Edmonton at the end of May, and maybe at the Transcend Coffee shop in Edmonton for the month of June. I've got a few more on the go including some big ones, but they are still in the experimental stages. And they need names...

RedBloom

For the month of April, I am showing my Pooch Portrait series at the Velvet Olive in Red Deer. It's my favorite venue in Red Deer for music, art and beer.

My 2nd show of my stretch of shows is being hung tomorrow at RedBloom in Calgary. If you are in the market for a haircut and happen to in Bridgeland, check it out! I have decided to dig into my vault and show a few older paintings that haven't seen the light of day in awhile. Here are a few oldies but goldies that will be on display at the salon.

In other news, my submission for a competition is finally complete and will be in the mail tomorrow! Fingers crossed!!
